In Mourning

Okay, first of, I think blogs are lame, who really gives a fuck about what is going on in anyone else's life because everyone is so wrapped up in their own problems to care. But I am bored and sitting in the Nerdhart Honors Lab with Teetz because he is scanning some pictures for his climate presentation and everyone knows I am co-dependent and needy and have to go wherever Teetz goes, so here I am. But, I decided to start a blog anyone because I am bored and this way maybe my ADHD will be kept in check long enough for Teetz to get his work done. He's kind of cranky this morning, and it's totally not my fault, but now he is blogging too so he's not working anyway.

Duke lost, and I am very upset about this. My brackets are all fucked up and now the only teams that are left in the Elite 8 that I actually chose are Illinois, Kentucky, and North Carolina. I hate North Carolina because everyone knows Duke > North Carolina. I hate Kentucky, also because I am a Duke fan, and Illinois sucks because they are one of the most overrated programs in the history of college basketball. The Big 10 was not nearly as strong as it used to be, so of course Illinois is going to look that much better and as much as I dislike Ohio State, I have never cheered so loud for them as I did the day they beat Illinois. I have no one left to cheer for in the tourney anymore, except Louisville, and I am not even that much of a fan, because Pitino of course, used to coach at Kentucky and why do I hate Kentucky, yep, because of Duke, and because they beat Minnesota in the Final Four back in 1997. Granted, it was a long time ago, but for people who really understand sports, they know why it still matters.
